Unemployed Relief APPEAL BY THE MAYOR ]|i< Worship the Mayor, Mr. J. W. McMillan this morning issued the following' appeal to the public of Rtiatford and district: . . Mrs. McMillan and I bog to appeal to the people of Stratford and district for donations in money or kind on behalf of our unemployed and others needing assistance. The ladies who are working so strenuously to subsidise the pittance from the unemployment fund are deserving of your utmost support. W,e make this appeal with every confidence that those who are fortunate enough to bo in employment will do their utmost to help. Donations will be received at the Stratford Evening Post, the Borougti Council Chambers or by the treasurer, Mr. C. Campbell, at the County Council office. (Sgd.) j. w. McMillan, v ' Mayor.
