Magnificent Trophy Secured

Invercargill, April 20. After five weeks spent in the Raisuock Valley, Te Anau, Messrs. Nitz Brothers, well-known Wairarapa sportsmen, have emerged with a magnificent trophy of their quest for wapiti. They were handicapped by bad weather but the discomfort was forgotten when they brought down a 16-pointer. The head is one of the finest secured. It measures 58 inches in length and has a spread of 50 inches. They reported that wapiti were fairly plentiful and in good condition.
