Relief Measures Held Up

A threat to declare martial law and confiscate wealth unless the legislature (passed pending relief legislation was made on Wednesday by Governor Floyd Olson in addressing several hundred marchers at the capitol. Appearing on the capitol steps-, the F-rmc-r-Laoourite Governor attacked toe Legislature, saying that Bills which would provide relief were bem? he -I up. He told the relief marchers that hj was making his last appeal for action by the legislature, which must adjourn en April 19. He said that should the rebel incisures not be passed he would decla;j martial law and bring in a provost guard.
