TOKO NOTES

An exceptional year for good growth has been experienced by the Toko district. One resident planted seed from her first crop ot peas and has has just harvested a splendid second crop, from the same piece of ground. Pumpkins and marrows are plentiful and of an exceptionally large size.

The Toko Church now presents a Church Repainted

more appreciative! appearance as a number of the members of the local undenominational Bible class who recently canvassed the district for subscriptions for the purpose of purchasing paint, have now completed their work of repainting the building. The work was efficiently carried out under the capable leadership of Mr. M. Urquhart and Mr. J. Weir, both of whom gave fully of their time and skill.
