INVITATION TO DR. DORIS GORDON

Foundation Member of British College /HONOUR FOR STRATFORD LADY Dundein, Feb. 21.—The British College of Obstetricians and Gynaeologists, London, has invited Dr. Doris Gordon, Stratford, to become a foundation member. The college, which has a position in obstetrics similar to that of the Royal College of Surgeons in surgery, has proffered this honour to Dr. Gordon in recognition of her services to the welfare of obstetrics in the Dominion. Foundation membership is conferred on obstetricians of merit without examination and by virtue of records of service to this particular branch of medicine. Dr. Doris Gordon led the campaign which two years ago raised £25,000 to establish a chair of obstetrics at the medical school, Dunedin.
