RAILWAY MAN FOUND GUILTY. , AUCKLAND, This Day. At the Supreme Court t ; he. jury returned a verdict of guilty in a charge of demanding money by menaces against Harry Cooper Douglas (57) a railway employee. Demands were made over the phone, upon a grocer by a man "who asked for seven pounds and later £2 for 'the return of what he said were incriminating letters and photographs reflecting on the grocer's wife. The grocer enlisted the services of tliq police, nncj madia an appointment. This led to accused's arrest. Sentence was deferred til) Wednesday.
