LONG GERMAN TRIAL ENDS
ALLEGED ATTEMPT TO DEFRAUD HUGO STINNES CO., ACQUITTED. OTHERS SEATBATED, (Received 9 a.m.) BERLIN, July 29. After a trial lasting three months the Hugo Stinnes Co., Hirsch and Rothman and Schneid were acquit- ' ted of attempting to defraud the ’Government hy the conversion of 'new into old war loan certificates. Stinnes’ secretary, von Waldow and also Bela Croos were sentenced to four months’ apiece. Eugen Hirsch was fined three thousand marl:::. Australian Press Assn.
