As a precaution against a Communist rising which is being planned throughout Europe for August 1, the police surrounded a secret meeting of Re'ds in an hotel in the village of Samohar. The order to surrender was met with a stream of bullets. In a fierce fight three Communists were killed 1 , th&e wounded and several police wounded. *
