A Marfandera message states a cloudburst occurred in the district, and storm waters from the watershed east of the town, quickly formed a raging torrent, several chains wide in places. Dozens of houses were flooded to a depth of three feet, while fences and outbuildings were carried away. All public services are disrupted. The storm was the worst 1 in the history of the town.
