TARANAKI v. S. AUCKLAND. The tour of the South Auckland howlers was concluded on Saturday, when, at New Plymouth, they were defeated by a Taranaki team by 211 to 160.
Contingents visited othen New Plymouth clubs. Vogeltown won by 37 to 35, Fire Brigade won by 21 to IG, and Paritutu wore beaten by 20 to 11.
