Play in the annual tournament of the South Taranaki Croquet Association was continued at' Hawera on .Wednesday. .-- # i In the ladies' championship singles (first life), Mrs. Biera beat Mrs. Campbell by 26 to 23, and Mrs Evans (26) beat Mrs Knight (7). In the second life, Mrs Biera (26) beat Mrs Snowdpn (17), and Mrs Moon (26) beat Nrs Milroy (20). Play in the Croquet tournament was continued yesterday. In the handicap doubles; Mr Olagne and Mrs Snowden (21) ■ defeated Mesdaines Moon, and Knight In the ladies' championship gingles (first life),.Mrs. Evans <&)**■ feated Mrs Knight (7), Mrs McKay (26) defeated Mrs Moon and Mrs Milroy (26) defeated Mrs Biera In the second life Mrs Campbell defeated Mm Knight (23) and Mr* Moon (26) defeated Mrs Mdroy (20).
