LAST QUARTER'S FIGURES.

A return of Postal Telegraph, revenue, for the quarter ended Pecembet'dl, 1928, snows the total was £960,629 compared with £883,817 for the same, quarter the previous year. Postal revenue for the fourth quar- i ter. «fi 1928 amounted and telegraph revenue to £666,206 compared with £365,483 and £518,333 respectively, for the last quarter m 192?* Totals of the Postal and Telegraph revenue, at' the Postal and Telegraph revenue, at the four centres were:— Auckland, £226,306. Wellington, £186,080 (excluding G.P.O. £52,616.)
Ghristchurch, £131,128. Dunedin, £45,616. Other centres with a heavy turnover' wereJ:-Hamilton, £71,249; NjPier, £27,626; InvercargiU, f 24 '*"' New Plymouth, £23,267; Palmerston North, £3t,943; Timaru, £29,061, Wanganui, £29,599.
