A! brazen .attempt to dope a racing; gresoun<s at Mascot to-day resulted in ».stern chase and the capture of a i ugiibive; who turned out to be W. Coventry, owner, of another, dog. Coventry was disqualified by the coursing authorities; for life. Opyentry was observed patting a dog named Irish Castle. "At the same time he gave it a piece of meat. The owner; who was standing nearby saw what had happened and made the dog-drop the meat, inside of which was a white pill. Coventry ran but several voices shouted:. "Stop that, ntflaf* -CbveUtry ran straight into -the*'arms of the course detective.
