O'Sullivan, judge of Jersey type, remarks: —"The. standard of 'work is again very high this year, and reflects, great credit both upon ! the pupils and 'the teachers. The i work of the place-getters i s of an j exceptionally high standard, and I must make special mention of the ' card sent in by the winner of the intermediate section. Corbeth 3 • Intermediate Class. —B. Mills 1, B. Parker 2, J. Whiting 3, and M. Sutton 4. First Year.—S. Dive 1, P. Jones 2, J. Stewart 8, and J. Davis 4., Mr H. Marchant, judge of Friesian type remarks: —"The calf se.lected for this year's competition was a very good type of two-year-old and her immaturity proved a stumbling-block for a number of the pupils. In spite of this, however, some surprisingly good work was done, especially in the first Year and advanced classes. The wolrM submitted was of a. very high order, and, made the allocation of the awards a very difficult task." The results; are as follows: First Year.—'E. Thomas 1,. Lillian Burch 2, Marjory Foley 3, and D. Tarrant 4. / J, Herricks and 9. Dive received special mention in this class. Intermediate Class. Bernice Mills 1, J. "Whiting 2, W. Ireland 3, and M. Sutton 4. H. Gower and P. Kivell receiving special mention. Advanced Glass.—Elizabeth. Dixon T. Margaret Tarrant 2, F. Young 3, and T. Mills 4. Those to receive special mention in this class were D. Corbett, D. Dixon, M. Morrison, and R. Reeves.
