Firemen Gaoled. As a sequel to the disturbances in Lyttelton oh Saturday four firemen appeared in Court yesterday. Philip Hock, aged 21, years, William Keylands ,aged 23, and, John Henry Hnr rig, aged 2-3,. were charged with assaulting a constable. Hock was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment. Keyhrnds was sentenced to three months in gaol for fighting with a person unknown, resisting arrest and assaulting a constable. Association decided to) throw the Showgrounds opeip for each night of the Show, and to provide some extra attractions to amuse the - public.
