TAXI DRIVER ARRESTED
ROTORUA FATALITY. Press Association—Copyright, ROTORUA, This Day. The inquest on John O’Connor who was killed 1 on Friday, was opened on Saturday, and adjourned sine die. A .taxi driver, Arthur Duncan, Whose car was brought to a gaiiige with a shattered wind! screen and other signs of ill usage on Friday night and whose account was deemed unsatisfactory, was arrested and cliUrged with negligently driving a motor vehicle, thereby causing the death of Joh|n O’Connor. Sergt. Hogan, representing the police, asked for a remand to July 17, which was granted, hail being allowed, self £2OO and two sureties of £IOO ejich.
