MAN SENTENCED TO GAOL. ECHO OF TRAGEDY. Press Association—-Coovright CHRISTGHIiRCH } This Day. William Alfred .Burgess, who was the central ligurei in the recent New Brighton bacli tragedy was to-day sentenced to three months gaol by the magistrate Mr .Lawry on a charge of disobeying a maintenance order in favour of his wife. The arrears totalled £298. The warrant will be suspended provided Burgess pays off £2 7s 6d weekly.
