TOKO DEFEATS STRATHMORE

The game between. Toko (the holders) and Strathmore for the Dean Cup on Saturday was keenly fought, Toko winning by 22 points to 6. The forwards were fairly evenly matched, but the Toko backs were slightly superior.

First blood went to Strathmore. In Toko’s 25 Hodson punted, followed up well and scored. Mouatt’s kick failed. Toko retaliated with a lociSo forward rush and a scramble in tlu* Strathmore 25 saw Toko awarded a penalty kick. G. Sangster goaled.
