THEFT FROM CHILDREN. Per Press Association Auckland, August 16. A girl aged 15, who was before Mr Poynton S.M., had for some months been holding up children at the street corners and stealing money from thenk. Her mother thought she was in employment as she brought home regularly fifteen shillings per week. Innumerable complaints made by parents to the police, and many traps were set continually. Accused was caught taking 7/85 children who had been sent shopping. The Magistrate ordered thn girl to be committed to the Christchurch receiving home. c
