STILL MISSING

As stated yesterday, owing to the disappearance of his wife, whose indifferent health after a nervous breakdown had caused the deepest anxiety, Mr B. Boyle left for Wanganui fearing the reported finding of a book on the river bank (on the fly-leaf of which a Te Wera resident's name was inscribed) together whh some articles of apparel, might have a bearing on the case. He has now telegraphed to an intimate friend in Stratford: "Only too true. Body not recovered." Great sympathy will be extended to Mr Boyle and his young family in the great misfortune which has almost certainly overtaken them. MESSAGE FROM WANGANUI. Per Press Association. Wanganui, August IG. The lady's hat and shoes found on the river bank near Aramoho last Saturday have been identified as the property of Mrs B. Boyle, Te Wera. . ; The police are dragging the river to-day in an attempt to recover the body.
