Fighting and rising continue over a widespread area from Hamburg to Aachen, many people being killed or wounded. A force of Communists endeavoured to/storm tho police headquarters in Aix La Chapelle, where a number of their comrades are imprisoned. A pitched battle followed, resulting in ten being killed and a hundred wounded. The Communists in most centre? suffered reverses, but in Wilhelmsburg, between Harbnrg and Hamburg, they succeeded in disarming tTio militia and gaining control of the town.
