PRESIDENT POLICY ADMINISTRATION UNCHANGED. Press Association—Copyright. Aus tralian and N.Z. C«ble Association. (Eoceived 9.30 a.m.) Washington, August 14. Following Mr Coolidge'b first meeting of the Cabinet, White House has emphatically announced that the present Administration will follow the late Mr Harding's policies in every particular; hence the world court will continue as an issue. Mr Ooolidge's attitude in regard to "Reparations coincides with Ml Hughes', who has repeatedly asserted that the Reparations and debts to the United States are not interrelated. ,-.....•
M r Ooolidge has no specific proposal regarding the European c >nditions, but is apparently, ready to render'all the assistance within the United States' power, short of becoming involved'in the situation. Regarding the debts owed to the United States, M r Coolidge's administrations policy will be to collect as rapidly as conditions permit.
Regarding immigration, it is rH'eved Mr Coolid;:e favours the selective system which is siibstntially similar to the Davis but the outstanding concern of so* Administration will be the alleviation of the agrarian crisis, success in regard to wh'-h is regarded as essential towa. u a victorious campaign in 1924.
