KING CONSTANTINE DYING CASE CONSIDERED HOPELESS. Dht/kd Peekb Association, (Received 9.15 a.m.) Paris, June IS. Reports from Rome state that though King Constantine’s condition has improved, his chance of recovery is considered hopeless, King Constantine, who succeeded to the throne on the assassination of his father, George L, on March 18th, 1913, was born on August 2nd, 1868. In 1889 he married the Kaiser’s sister. He has three sons and two daughters, the eldest son being Prince j George, who was born in 1890. The King lias been seriously ill for some considerable time. He was immensely popular with his subjects, although his attitude in the present crisis seems to he against that of bis Government under the leadership of M. Venezelos.
