By a compromise come to between militarists and economists, whereby Cabinet has consented to the expenditure of ninety-two and a half million yen, spread unevenly over six years for the construction of a battleship and three super-Dreadiiought cruisers, ft is hoped by economies to cover the expenditure by 1912.
