BLUFF DOMAIN BOARD— At a meeting of the Bluff Domain Board the annual report was adopted. It was decided to engage three men for one week to carry out as much tree-planting as possible in this period, with trees available from local stocks, and also to procure a quantity of seedlings for future planting. . OYSTERING— For the first time since the season opened the oyster fleet has been out every day for a fortnight. SCHOOL COMMITTEE— At the monthly meeting of the Bluff School Committee the chairman, Mr G. Muir, presided. The head master reported that the roll number was 292 and that most of the children had returned to school after the holidays. Arrangements had been made to convey the Green Point and Ocean Beach pupils to school by taxi during the winter months.
