HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS SUCCESSFUL

On a heavy ground which was slippery after a hard frost. High School A defeated Technical College A at Queen’s Park on Sat- | > urday by four goals to three. On the day's play the Technical team was the more aggressive, being well led by Sinclair. The forwards played a good game, but positional play was not all it might be. The High School team did not show as much dash as usual and was definitely sluggish at times. Lack of opportunities to score was largely responsible for the failure of the Technical team to win. Pettigrew scored all four goals for High School, while Sinclair scored two and Calvert one for Technical. Sturman played a sound game in the High School team and a good display was given by Crawford. Bainbridge, the goalkeeper, put in much sound defensive work. Messrs J. Chisnall and F. Hinton were the referees. . , „ „ High School B beat Technical College B by seven goals to one.
