PARTY LEADERS CONFER
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 29. Discussions on the recent proposals of the New Zealand Returned Services Association for an enlarged War Cabinet with the inclusion of a number of Ministers selected from outside Parliament took place today between the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, and the Leader of the Opposition, Mr S. G. Holland. Various other matters in the direction of national unity were also discussed. An invitation to meet him and discuss these proposals was extended to Mr Holland by Mr Fraser a fortnight ago. The meeting between the party leaders lasted 90 minutes. The discussions will be continued next week.
