MAIL FROM DOMINION LOST
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 29. The Postmaster-General, the Hon. P. C. Webb, regrets to announce the loss by enemy action of a small mail containing correspondence posted in the Auckland province for the United Kingdom and Europe. The mail consisted of 14 bags, of which five contained civilian correspondence and one troop mail for the United Kingdom, also one bag for Switzerland and seven bags of parcels for prisoners of war in Germany. The dates of posting were: Business correspondence and prisoner of war parcels, February 28 to March 4 inclusive; other correspondence, February 14 to 18, inclusive.
