MR DUFF COOPER TO VISIT CHRISTCHURCH

Mr A. Duff Cooper, the British WaxCabinet’s representative in the Far East, will visit Christchurch on Saturday, November- 22, and will remain in the city till Monday. Mr Duff Cooper will stay with the Governor-General (Six - Cyril Newall) at Daresbtiry, the purpose of his visit to the South Island being to confer with his Excellency. A civic reception to Mi- Duff Cooper will probably be arranged for the Saturday night. He will return to Wellington by air on Monday, November’ 24.
