BLUFF NEWS
HOME GUARD There was a very good muster at the weekly parade of the Home Guard at Bluff. Those who were not at the previous parade were measured for uniforms. The engineers’ squad paraded separately and the remainder marched to Ocean Beach where night manoeuvres were practised. Company Sergeant-Major Wixon will leave for Burnham on Friday for a refresher course. PERSONAL Private W. Tregilgus was the guest of honour at a function held in the R.S.A. rooms. The Mayor, Mr N. W. McGorlick, made a presentation and wished the guest Godspeed and a safe return.
