DUTCH MINISTERS’ VISIT

RECEPTION APPRECIATED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 26. The following telegram has been received by the acting Prime Minister, the Hon. W. Nash, from Dr E. N. Van Kieffens and Mr Charles Welter, Netherlands Ministers: “On leaving the territory of New Zealand we wish to thank you, and through you your colleagues in the Government and the people of the Dominion, for the very kind reception extended to us here. We feel on our side that our stay here, short as it necessarily was, has been as useful as it was pleasant, and with a renewed expression of our gratitude we send you all our best wishes for the continued success of your soldiers and the prosperity of New Zealand.” Mr Nash replied: “I desire on behalf of my colleagues and myself to thank you and Mr Welter for your kind message of farewell. I feel your visit has been of very great value and that both our countries will obtain mutual benefit. I wish you Godspeed and a safe journey.”
