MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
CITY GUARDS CLUB The City Guards Miniature Rifle Club held its opening shoot in Smith’s Hall last night. The best scores off the rifle were:—R. J. Brydon 80.7, J. B. Doake 78, B. Broomfield 78, H. Jenner 78, C. Mathieson 77, C. Young 77, W. McChesney 73. R.S.A. CLUB’S SCORES The R.S.A. Miniature Rifle Club held its weekly shoot last night. The attendance was good. Competition shooting will start next Monday, when the club will be graded. The following were the highest scores last night:—F. Jones 79.5, R. T. Barnett 78.5, J. B. Doake 78.5, H. MacDougall 78.3, F. Stewart 77.5, M. J. Sheehan 77.5, R. D. Barnes 75.3, W. T. Hannon 75.2, A. Biel 74.3, J. Mcllwraith 74.2, C. Parmenter 73.3, H. Kirkham 73.2, A. Cullen 73.2, A. Acton 73.1, K. Mills 72.2. COLLEGIATE CLUB The scoring was not up to the usual standard at the Collegiate Miniature Rifle Club’s shoot last night. The O.S.A. badge was won by Mrs J. B. Doake and the Rice button by L, Findlay. The highest scores off the rifle were: Mrs J. B. Doake 78.6, A. Blee 78.5, D. Doake 76.4, Miss T. James 76.3, J. W. Doake 74.2, P. Fraser 73.2, G. Elder 73.2, A. Wilson 73.2, Miss D. Grieber 73.1, Miss M. Jones 73.1.
