WOODLANDS Miss L. Cross, of Mandeville, and Miss Norma Robins, of Gore, have been staying with Mrs John McHardy, sen. Mrs Tattersfield, of Invercargill, has been the guest of her sister, Mrs R. Walker.
Sister E. Trotter, of the Southland Hospital, visited her parents, Mr and Mrs J. D. Trotter, during the week.
- Mrs Frew and Miss J. Frew were recent visitors to Waipango for the Hellier-Willis wedding.
Mr and Mrs J. Pye, of Thombury, were the guests of Mrs H. Waddell during the week. Miss N. Scott, of Clifden, is the guest of Miss M. McNay. Miss A. Mitchell, of Invercargill, has been staying with Mrs A. Heenan. Mr and Mrs D. A. Taylor, of Ryal Bush, and their small daughter, Ngarie, have been spending a few days with Mrs John McHardy, sen. Mrs A. Caldwell is the guest of her sister, Mrs Armstrong, Timaru. Miss Ethel Gormack and Miss Edna Buchanan, both of Hvercargill, were the guests of Mrs C. Frew during the week.
