OPENING NIGHT OF MUSIC CIRCLE
A social evening was held at the Women’s Club last night to mark the opening of the Music Circle when a miscellaneous programme was presented. A competition “Musical News,” was held.
The chairman, Mrs J. D. Gilmore, welcomed the members and wished the circle every success in the coming year. The following members gave items:— Mrs Brian Hewat (songs), Mrs T. Matthews and Mrs A. E. H. Bath (pianoforte duet), Mrs E. K. Mills (songs), Mrs J. G. Gasparich (songs), Mrs Frampton (songs), Mrs Verrigan (songs).
