Few people realize the uses of a rubber scraper. Not only is it useful for scraping dirty dishes, but it is invaluable for scraping a cake mixture, or any other mixture, from the mixing bowl into the baking tin, instead of using a knife, spoon, or fingers. The scraper will not leave any of the mixture sticking to the bowl, and is a clean, quick method of cleaning the bowl.
