AGREEMENT ON MACHINERY CLAUSES

WELLINGTON, May 24.

Agreement on most of the machinery clauses was reached in Conciliation Council today in the Taranaki, Wellington, Canterbury and Otago and Southland caretakers’, lift attendants’ and watchmen’s dispute. The Arbitration Court will be asked to settle wages, hours of work and annual holidays. Several definitions will also have to be settled by the court.
