CHURCH OF SCOTLAND DELEGATE

PRESBYTERIAN CENTENARY ASSEMBLY (United Press Association) ASHBURTON, May 24. The convener of the life and work committee of the Presbyterian Church, the Rev. R. S. Watson, has been advised by the Rev. J. Macdonald Webster, D.D., general secretary of the colonial and continental committee of the Church of Scotland that the Rev. Professor John Baillie, D.D., D. Litt, S.T.D., professor of divinity at Edinburgh University, will be the delegate from the Church of Scotland to the centenary assembly at Wellington next February. It is expected that he will be in New Zealand for two months. It is hoped that he will visit many churches. His wife and son will probably accompany him. An invitation has been sent to a Chinese Christian leader.
