FAREWELL PARTY AT WYNDHAM

MR AND MRS FRANK BALL HONOURED Mr and Mrs Frank Ball who leave Wyndham on' Tuesday morning, en route for their new home at Raub, Malaya, were on Tuesday evening entertained at a farewell party given by their numerous friends at the home of Mr and Mrs E. C. Davey. The reception rooms were decorated with rambler roses and gleam nasturtiums. Trump whist was played and the winners were Mrs Lance Harper and Mr Alan Davey, and the consolation winners were Mr D. Crawford and Miss M. Payne. During the evening a presentation of a handsome travelling clock was made to Mr and Mrs Ball by Mr C. E. Davey, who also wished them, on behalf of those present, “bon voyage.” Mr and Mrs Ball replied and thanked those present for their gift and their good wishes.
