DRAW WITH CARDRONA The Queenstown cricket team played a drawn game against Cardrona. Queenstown batted first and made 231 runs for six wickets, declared. SHEARERS BEAT RAILWAY A cricket match was played between the Queenstown Railway Club and the Australian shearers working at Mount Nicholas Station. The shearers won on the first, innings on the call of time. In the second innings Railway compiled 110 and declared and the Australians made 80.
