DAMAGES CLAIMED FOR LOSS OF WIFE
DEATH FROM INJURIES IN ACCIDENT (Upited Press Association) WELLINGTON, November 24. A claim for more than £4OOO damages was made in the Supreme Court in Wellington by a Christchurch resident on behalf of himself and his children for the loss of his wife, who died from injuries she received in an accident during a visit to Wellington. Emily Elizabeth Williams was knocked down by a motor-car on Brooklyn road. The accident paralysed the greater portion of her body and she died a month later. The plaintiff is George Albert Kendall Williams, a company manager, of Christchurch, and the defendants are David Norman Costley, a clerk, of Wellington, and James Costley, a foreman, of Wellington.
