HARBOUR WORKS AT BLUFF
INSPECTION BY BOARD A tour of inspection of the harbour works at Bluff was made yesterday morning by members of the Bluff Harbour Board. Members first visited the board’s slipway before proceeding to the wharf, where the new electric capstans recently installed were tested. The board also visited the water works on Bluff Hill, where the new reservoir is being constructed. « At the meeting of the board, the officers’ reports (already published) were adopted. There were present at the meeting: Mr W. A. Ott (chairman), the Hon. T. F. Doyle, M.L.C., the Messrs W. M. Norman, C. B. Tapley, C. S. Longuet, G. Wraytt, A. H Aitken, L. W. Spencer, W. J. A. McGregor and D. H. Cockburn.
