RIFLE CLUB HOLDS BALL

TROPHIES PRESENTED On a recent evening the Glenham Rifle Club held its concluding ball, when the trophies won during the year were presented. Mr R. K. Bain, the president was in the chair and thanked all who had helped to make the season a success. Various trophies had been competed for each month and he thanked . the donors. He also thanked the visitors from Fortrose, Menzies Ferry, Mataura Island, Gorge Road and Invercargill for their attendance. Mr Davis, Invercargill, replied on behalf of the visitors. The following trophies were presented:—E.- Rabbidge cup, Miss J- McEwan; A. C. Bulling cup, Miss J. Rabbidge; Barret trophy, Mrs McKay; club cup, Mr W. Brown; James Milne cup, Mr G. McEwan; club cup for most consistent shot, Mr T. Thwaites; club cup, for most improved shot, Mr W. Matheson; President’s cup, Mr R. Robinson; Barrett cup, Mr J. McKay; club cups, (A grade), A. Melvin; (B grade), S. Templeton; (C grade), I. Milne.
