ARBITRATION COURT CRITICIZED
DELAY IN SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 7. “The delay which has occurred in the settling of industrial disputes has been a disturbing factor in industry—it has caused discontent among the workers and inconvenience to employers who have been unable to estimate their labour costs ahead with any degree of accuracy.” Criticizing the Arbitration Court for its delay the executive committee of the Auckland Provincial Employers’ Association makes this statement in the annual report to be presented next week.
