FRENCH SPIES SENT TO PRISON
(Received October 7, 6,30 p.m.) ' PARIS, October 6. Five persons, including a family of four, were sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment. and 20 years’ local banishment for espionage on behalf 2 Germany. It was stated that they had communicated with agents endeavouring to supply defence information.
