LABOURER HANGED IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

FIRST EXECUTION FOR NINE YEARS (Received August 12, 6.30 p.m.) ADELAIDE, August 12. The first execution for nine years occurred today. James Waterston, aged 27, a labourer, was hanged for the murder of a 12-year-old girl, Elizabeth Nielsen, who was also criminally assaulted. Waterston was a married man, with two children.
