HORSE FAIR AT ALLANTON
PRICES SHOW FIRMING TENDENCY Donald Reid and Co., Ltd., held the forty-first annual Taieri Clydesdale horse fair at their Allanton saleyards on Friday. The entry of 220 horses comprised 120 unbroken and rising three-year-old colts and fillies and 100 broken-in mares and geldings, which for quality compared very favourably with offerings of recent years.
