GOOD GENERAL COMPETITION (Received May 2, 9.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 2. There was good general competition at the wool sales today. Continental sections predominated, especially French. Values were fully firm on the closing rates of last week. Shafty wools displayed a hardening tendency. Greasy Merino realized to 19. id.
