NEW COURT HOUSE FOR CITY
MINISTER EXPECTS EARLY START ON WORK “That is a matter largely in the hands of the Public Works Department,” said the Minister of Justice (the Hon. H. G. R. Mason) when asked by The Southland Times yesterday when work would begin on the new Court house at Invercargill. “The plans have been approved by the Department of Justice and they are now in the hands of the Public Works Department. Just when they will manage to make a start I do not know. I understand, though, that it should be quite soon.” The new building would fulfill all requirements, Mr Mason said. Attention had been given to all details; there would be every convenience, and the accommodation would be comfortable both for the staff and for anyone doing business at the Court,
