DEATH OF INTERMEDIATE DIVING CHAMPION OF OTAGO (United Press Association) DUNEDIN, December 21. Vernon Donnelly Agnew, aged 16, intermediate boys’ diving champion of Otago for the last two years, who was selected in the Otago team for the New Zealand intermediate swimmnig championships at Nelson, died last evening from pneumonia after a few days’ illness. ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL REPLAY IN F. A. CUP CONTEST LONDON, December 20. A replay in the Football Association Cup competition (second round) resulted: New Brighton 4 v. Crewe 1.
