It is unlikely that any of the cargo of the East London liner Stuart Star, which went ashore on the rocky coast near the Hook Point lighthouse last Friday, will be salvaged. Passengers on board for New Zealand were Mr A. G. Ridleys and his two sons, and Misses J. and F. M. Atkinson.
